Fulldome Short on Syfy and New Scientist Blogs

Jeepers Creepers, a new fulldome short we recently premiered at the Fulldome UK 2011 Festival just made it to New Scientist Magazine and the SyFy Channel‘s blogs. Check out a flat version of the short below, but keep in mind that to really experience it fully, you have to see it in a dome. If you do want to see it in a dome and you’re in Europe, go check it out at the Immersive Film Festival in Espinho, Portugal in late April or at the Jena Fulldome Festival in Jena, Germany in May. I acted as Producer and Sound Designer for this creepy little short.

Solar System Odyssey

Led the Morehead production team that is developing a NASA funded groundbreaking fulldome planetarium show that debuted August 2011. Our story takes place far in the future with an Earth on the verge of environmental collapse. Billionaire Warren Trout thinks he can make a fortune colonizing the rest of the solar system and sends space pilot Jack Larson to find out where. But there’s one thing he didn’t count on – Ashley, Trout’s daughter, has stowed away on board the ship and has her own ideas.

Co-taught, with Mike Schmidt, a class on how to create a documentary website for a professional client using various multimedia approaches. We worked with the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School to create a site that profiled their top professors and showed prospective students how they could work with these professors to be successful with their MBA program.

Earth, Moon & Sun

Led Morehead’s first fulldome production project – a remake of their most popular analog show called Earth, Moon and Sun. No one on our team had ever produced a fulldome show before so it was a huge learning curve but the show is getting a great response and is now playing in planetariums all around the world.
